● TREATMENT PROGRAM ● |
Rainbow Lodge offers a four week residential program designed to help individuals deal with substance abuse. We provide a culturally based program with a 12 Step Foundation and Life Skills approach for individuals.
REFERRAL QUALIFICATIONS
● Must be 18 years of age or older
● Determined to get sober and live a good life
● All Clients must be willing to abide by the Ngwaagan Gamig Recovery Centre's
Rules and Regulations
● Personal / Business matters which include finances, medical appointments,
child care, family or personal relationships, must be taken care of prior to
intake day; so that it does not interfere with the client's treatment.
All clients must be detoxified and prior to admittance. For other
is
required.
OTHER SERVICES OFFERED
● Day-Patient - Community members are
referred to the day-program if unable to stay in the centre.
● Out-Patient - This program is specifically for community members who are
unable to participate in the four week program.

● OVERVIEW OF THE FOUR-WEEK PROGRAM ● |
Each day will begin with a Smudge using the sacred medicines; followed by a group Sharing Circle.
Week 1: Self
Assessment
The first week in treatment will focus on completing all admission procedures,
reviewing House Policies and group building. Also, Steps 1 through 3 will be
covered; these steps will involve self-evaluations.
Week 2:
Individual Program Plans
The second week in treatment will focus on developing individual treatment
goals. Clients will be required to maintain a personal journal while in
treatment. This week continues with Steps 4 through 8.
Week 3:
Problem Solving
The third week in treatment will focus on individual client issues and conflict
resolution. This week will focus on emotions, participants will learn ways of
dealing with negative emotions. Steps 9 through 12 will be covered. Clients will
learn ways of developing positive relationships.
Week 4:
Maintenance
The fourth and final week of treatment will focus on continuum care for clients.
Clients will learn about relapse prevention and will develop Aftercare plans to
assist in on-going recovery.
Evening / Weekend Programs
Residents - are required to participate in scheduled programming for evenings as
well as weekends.
Day-Patients - are encouraged to attend weekend programs; Tuesday and
Sunday night AA meetings; and also encouraged to attend Video and Craft nights.

INTAKE PROCEDURES
1. Completion of the Treatment Referral Form
with Pre-Admission Medical Form

3. Screening of applicants will be completed for final approval
4. Pending final approval, acceptance letter will be forwarded to worker or
client
5. Travel arrangements to our facility must be forwarded to Intake Office
prior to admission day
6. Incomplete applications will delay process of client application screening.
